Donald Arthur Harris, No. 150. ! of Beaver. Lewis Earl Whitney, No. 181, registered at Milford but transferred trans-ferred to Carlsbad, New Mexico for induction. James Howard Low, No. S-332. of Beaver. John Elwin Clay, No. S-397, of Milford, (now completing his final year at the U. S.A. C. at Logan.) Howard Charles Gressmen, No. 461, registered at Milford but now at Minersville. Ellis George Carter, No. 509, of Minersville. These boys are to leave Beaver for Salt Lake City by special bus at 9:42 the morning of Tuesday, May 5. Under the new plan of induction, in-duction, all quota selectees, providing pro-viding they pass the examination a? the Salt Lake induction center, are immediately sworn into the army. However, should the need for additional time in which to wind up private affairs be proven, a ten-day furlough may be taken by the inductee. |
