Clay, who are leaving soon, with their families, to make their homes at Tooele and Salt Lake City, respectively. Bridge was enjoyed en-joyed with Mrs. Rudolph Nielsen being awarded the high prize, Mr3. James Lang the consolation prize and Mr3. Gene Kirk the traveling prize. The guests of honor were each presented with a gift. Others present were Mrs. Parley Fisher, Mrs- R. W. Ache-son, Ache-son, Mrs. Tom Scott, Mr.?. Gene Kirk, Mrs. K. B. Coon, Mr3. Weston and daughter Beverly this week motored motor-ed to Monroe, where they visited several days, returning home Tuesday. Cottrell informs The News that little Mias Colleen Cottrell, Cot-trell, seven year old daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Fred Cottrell of Oxford, Ox-ford, Ohio is slowly recovering in the Cincinnati Children's hompital from an attack of encephalitis, or sleeping sickness, as the disease is more commonly known. The little girl was stricken August 13 but it was not until August 17 that the trouble was diagnosed as encephalitis. Unconscious' for Mveral days, but, with her mother in close attendance, the little patient pa-tient had just begun to recognize relatives when word was last received, re-ceived, but complete rovery was indicated. |
