Show CIIRISTIANSCIENCE ""Truth" is the subject of the lesson-sermon to be read by the Christian Science Society in Milford Mil-ford Sunday, January 23. The Golden Text is: "Thou, 0 Lord, art a God full of compassion, compas-sion, and gTacious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth" (Psalms 86: 15). The Scriptural citations include the following: "The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty (Psalms 29:4). Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else" (Isaiah 45: 22). Offered as correlatives are the following from "Science and Health with Key to the Scrip- tures" by Mary Baker Eddy: "Be'-i "Be'-i cau?e Truth is infinite, error I should be known as nothing. Be-' Be-' cause Truth is omnipotent in good-; good-; ness, error, Truth's opposite, has ! no might (p. 3C7). The greatest ! wrong is but the supposititious opposite op-posite of the highest right" (p. I 36S). |
