Show To Invite Meeting OfCivicJMs The Milford Lions club at the regular luncheon meeting Wednesday Wednes-day voted enthusiastically to authorize Director L. A. Wy-naught Wy-naught of the Civic Clubs of Southern Utah to invite that organization to again hold their March meeting at Milford with the date t coincide with the annual an-nual St. Patrick's day dance of the Brotherhood of Railway trainmen, train-men, the same as last year. The motion was made following a report of the annual meeting of the civic clubs organization, held last month at St. George, at which time Lion Wynaught was elected as a director. Wednesdays meeting was the first for the year 1935, the last meeting in December and the first one in January having been omitted on account of the holidays and in keeping with past custom. Incidentally, Inci-dentally, the meeting was featured by a very nice luncheon prepared under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Peer, operators of the Union Pacific dining room, who have been away from their Milford Mil-ford post for some three months, including the holidays. Present at the meeting were Lions O. C. Koch, H. T. Hanks, L. A. Wynaught, Dr. R. R. Shannon, P. E. Beecher, J. M. Hughes, Lamar La-mar Outzen, M. H. Pool, R. C. Palmer, J. R. Murdock jr. and D. S. Williams. I. Altman, a former live member of the club, was present pres-ent as a prospective new member and was given a good hand. |
