Show CLOTHING DRIVE PLMSES OFFICIALS ' The "What Can You Spare That They Can Wear" clothing drive has ended and, so far as Milford is concerned, was a highly high-ly successful campaign, reports Mr. J. C. Muncey, local chairman for the drive. More than 850 pounds of garments gar-ments were collected by the Boy Scouts under Mr. Muncey's supervision, su-pervision, and, at the rate of calculation cal-culation usually followed that means more than 2500 garments were donated by Milfordites to help clothe war sufferers in all parts of the world. "The garments that we had to re-handle, folding, etc., were in excellent condition and unusually clean," Mr. Muncey said. "I wish to sincerely thank the people of Milford for their generous response re-sponse to the appeal, and for the excellent condition of the clothing cloth-ing they donated." |
