Show HLFORD SCOUTS OBSERVE NATIONAL BOY SCOUT WEEK Milford's Boy Scouts will observe Mational Boy Scout week with var-ous var-ous activities during the week, md closing with a Father and Scout banquet in the Relief So-:iety So-:iety room of the L. D. S. church -n Saturday, February 9. A program, including skits, acts, nlks etc., has been arranged, with I'el Gubler, field man for the Southern Utah district, as well as he district committee member.'? roin Beaver and all local Scouters expected to be in attendance. On Sunday evening, February 10, he Milford Boy Scouts will have iharge of the program at the L. S. church. The committee to elp instruct in Air, Sea and Ex-Icrer Ex-Icrer Scouting is Ben Hillman, a Fisher mvj James Hardy. T Regular Scout officers are Rudolph Ru-dolph Neilsen, chairman; Albert ones, P. M. On Sunday of last week a District Dis-trict Court of Honor, presided over by Dick Foerster and Carlyle Gronning, was held at Minersville. Among the various awards was a Life Scout award presented to Charles Baxter of Milford, who also received two merit badges. The next Court of Honor, at which an unusual number of merit badges will be awarded participating participat-ing Scouts, is scheduled for Milford the last Saturday in February. |
