Show .u Local Music Teacher To Enter Army Service Harry William Clark jr., Milford Mil-ford high school music teacher for the past year, has been notified notifi-ed by the Beaver county local board to report July 7 for induction induc-tion into service under the selective selec-tive service act. Accordingly, he expects to leave Sunday for a visit with his parents and friends in Helper prior to coming back to report at Beaver, from which place he will leave at 1:29 o'clock o'-clock the next morning by bus for the induction center in Salt Lake City. This will fill Beaver county's quota of one man in response re-sponse to call No. 13. Mr. Clark has been busy with the summer music course in MiL-ford MiL-ford and has been putting forth extra efforts with the band with a view to their attendance at the Covered Wagon celebration in Salt Lake City July 24. The News is informed that the summer music work will not be given up. however, since Rex Sutherland, who made such an excellent record re-cord with the Minersville Junior high school band two years ago, has been employed by the board of education to carry on in place of Mr. Clark. Since leaving Minersville, Min-ersville, Mr. Sutherland has been directing the band at Farrer Junior Jun-ior high school at Provo. and it is fortunate that that school has no summer program underway, otherwise his services would not have been available.
