Show Athletic Club Reelects Two Former Officials Walter E. Martin as president and Vernon M. Burns as secretary-treasurer of the Milford Ath-ltic Ath-ltic club were unanimously reelected re-elected to office Tuesday evening at the annual meeting of the organization, or-ganization, held in the town office. The club has an all-inclusive lease on properties constructed ' for the benefit of the old Union Pacific Athletic club, including the two tennis courts and the baseball park and the matter of subleasing the latter property to the Milford baseball club, soon to be reorganized reorgan-ized for the season, was one of the matters which came up for discussion. dis-cussion. Bids for re-surfacing the large tennis court are being solicited and it is expected thereby to be able to put the court in first class condition. Club membership fees, which include in-clude the use of the tennis court, were again fixed at $1.50 for the season or $2.50 for two memberships member-ships in one family; and 1936 membership cards on this basis will soon be available. |
