Show A bridal shower was given last Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. George Jefferson in honor of Mrs. V. Oakley Nelson (nee Miss Hazel Tribole). Thirty-five guests enjoyed the evening in various games. Mrs. Nelson received many beautiful and useful presents pre-sents from her many friends. Mrs. La Mar Outzen and daughters, daugh-ters, Ann Marie and Mary Lamar, left Wednesday for Preston, Idaho, Ida-ho, where the girls will remain for a visit with relatives, while Mr. and Mrs. Outzen make a trip to Omaha and Chicago. In Omaha, Mr. Outzen will attend a convention conven-tion of Union Pacific watch inspectors. in-spectors. Mrs. J. L. Ashworth returned Friday of last week to her home in Long Beach, California after a stay of several weeks near the bedside of her mother, Mrs. William Wil-liam Davis, first at Ely, Nevada, and later at Milford. Mrs. Davis became bedridden while on a visit with another daughter in Ely ancT was brought to the local hospital a couple of weeks ago, Mr. Davis ' accompanying them , here after b'eing called toEly by the bad turn I in his wif's condition.
