Show Ration Book Four Soon Available Issuance dates for war ration book four in the state of Utah will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, October 27, 28 and 29, the chairman of the Milford war price and rationing board announces. Distribution will be made through the schools of the state because of their ability to do the work quickly quick-ly and efficiently and their patriotic patrio-tic cooperation in the pa-st. Issuance of the new book, which is to last approximately two years, will involve but a1 few minutes min-utes time. All persons are eligible eligi-ble to secure war ration book four except members of the armed forces fed at camps, officer's mlesses or other government establishments; persons confined to public institutions; and persons residing in the United States for less than 60 days. Applicants for the new ration books must have war ration book three with them to present as proof of their right to receive war ration book four. Members of the sarnie family, must appply on the same form, which may be signed and presented by any person whom the family delegates to act for it. But for each individual listed on the application, a war ration book three must be presented pre-sented for stamping and return to the applicant. Both the purchaser and the seller sell-er of a used truck must file with the local war price and rationing board an OP A certificate transfer trans-fer form, setting forth the price paid, according to t,he local board chairman. The purchaser must file his certificate of transfer at the time he applies for a gasoline rationing book. This procedure has been established by the O P A to enforce en-force ceiling prices on the sale of used trucks, which may be sold for prices ranging from 33 to 92 percent per-cent of the original price. Trucks sold by dealers with a warranty of 30 days or 1,000 miles use may bring prices ranging from 11 to 17 percent in excess of the "ceiling "ceil-ing price." V |
