On motion of Lion J. R. Murdock jr., Lions O. C. Koch and Rudolph Nielsen were named to head two teams of Lions who will set up a campaign for new members, the campaign to come to a close at the time of the prospective ladies night. Lion Cline reported on the Christmas cheer project, in which all organizations of the community communi-ty joined to furnish needy families fami-lies baskets of food or other needs, stating that fuel had been furnished fur-nished the family assigned to the Lions club for help. Lion Ivan McKnight, member of the Beaver county board of comlmissioners, mentioned that the members of the state road commission com-mission were expected to meet with the Beaver county board this Thursday at about noon and invited invit-ed a delegation from the Lions club to be in attendance, since an effort would be made to get highway high-way 21, from Milford west to the Nevada line, set up for oiling.
