Show Mr. ano Mrs. Gent Kirk were business visitors in Cedar City over Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. William Morris was a Salt I-ake City visiter this week where she is taking medical treatment. Little Miss Joan Tain?ert arrived ar-rived in Milford' Wednesday, afternoon, after-noon, after visiting in Salt Lake over the Christmas holidays with her moiher and .oOher relatives. Miss Joan is a niece of Mrs. Rudolph Ru-dolph Nielsen and is making; her home ,with them this winter. Misses Rosetta and Freda Koch ". Colorado Springs arrived this week in the latter's car for a visit at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. 0. C. Koch. Mrs. Gene Kirk entertained her bridge club Monday night with Mrs. M. H. Pool winning the club pie, Mrs. J. C. Smith the house prize anil Mrs. J. M. Hughes the consolation prize. Others present jwere Mrs. J. M. Williams, Mrs. D. i S. Williams, Mrs. Rudolph Nielsen and Mrs. George Moore. Mrs. George Jefferson entertained enter-tained at a charmingly arranged dinner party , last Saturday eve-l eve-l ning, followed by bridge. Those j present were Mrs. J. R. Murdock jr., Mrs. .Fife Ogburn, Mrs. Val Yepsen, Mrs. Harold Cline, Mrs-Sam Mrs-Sam Cline, Mrs. Vic Carlson and Mrs. Harry Jefferson. At bridge Mrs. Carlson wen the hish score prize and Mrs. Harold Cline the consolation prize. .Mrs. .A. A. Mclntyre was hostess host-ess to her bridge club last Thursday Thurs-day night with Mrs. Val Yepsen winning the high points prize, Mrs. Ross Palmer the high honors prize and Mrs. Lloy.d Kohler the consolation prize. Others present were Mrs. Faye Bralfieid, Mts. Clarence Grimshaw, Mrs. Fred Paschall and Mrs. Ray Mills. The Business and Professional Womens club met Monday night at the library building in their first meeting of the year. Mrs. Merle Carlson gave. a very interesting inter-esting lesson on," Government and Women in Business". Those present pre-sent were Lea Jolley, Margaret Noble, , Gladys Cclemen, Gertrude Dewey, Loretta Cline, Erma Cline, Grace Jefferson and Freda Out-zen, Out-zen, Mrs. J. H. Pool and Mrs. Ross Palmer were hostesses Monday afternoon at a birthday party given for , Mrs. Rudolph Nielsen at the Nielsen home. Bridge was enjoyed, after which a dainty lunch ' was served.
