Show . j Foster Morris left Sunday for a month's vacation in Los Angeles. Mrs. William Morris and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Tanner and children chil-dren visited the fore part of the week at the home of Mrs. Otto Schwob in Beaver. A fine baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. James Hickman Wednesday night of last week. Mrs. Hickman is the former Miss Jean Moore and this is their second sec-ond child, the first being a boy. The regular election day dinner will be served Tuesday noon at the Methodist church, according to information given The News, and all are invited to partake of the excellent meal always prepared pre-pared and served by the women workers. Mrs. William Morris entertained Tuesday evening at a bridge party in honor of her daughter, Mrs. Clyde Tanner. Those present were Mrs. Otto Steenbock, Mrs. J. P. Holm, Mrs. Robert Tomsik, Mrs. Mack Gillins, Mrs. Fred Jefferson, Mrs. Vcm Shingleton, Mrs. Wm. Carlsan, Mrs. William Cochrane, Mrs. Ed Bardsley, Mrs. Eddie Leech, Tannis Strofeld and Mrs. Tanner, the honor guest. Points and traveling prizes were won by Mrs.- Steenbock and the honors prize by Mrs. Leech, while a guest prize was presented to Mrs. Tanner. Tan-ner. M |
