Show LOCALS Mr. and Mrs. M. P. Lewis visited visit-ed in Milford over the week-end, Mrs. Lewis remaining here for a longer visit. Mr. Lewis returned to Tooele, where they are making their home while he is engaged in engineering work on the transcontinental trans-continental lines of the American Telephone & Telegraph company. Their son, Corporal David Lewis, originally with the Utah national guard, is stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington while awaiting orders to report for training as an aviation avia-tion cadet. Word was received Friday of last week of the birth of a baby girl, Donna Jean, that momring to the Reverend and Mrs. Donald Blackstock, who left Milford only a couple of weeks ago to take up work in Oregon for the Methodist church. The young lady made her appearance at Holy Cross hospital and weighed five pounds 11 ounc. es. This is the first grandchild for Dr. W. E. Blackstock, superintendent superin-tendent of the Utah Methodist mission and wellknown in Milford; also for the younger Mrs. Black-stock, Black-stock, who reside in Salt Lake City. Arleigh Campeau and Frank Tribole were visitors in Salt Lake City Sunday, returning home Monday Mon-day morning. V |
