Show RAILROAD NEWS By MllS. ROMA CARLTON Phone 169-R """"" "" Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Camster spent the last week-end in Salt Lake City and Brigham City, visiting friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Garfield and daughter Carol retimed Wednesday Wednes-day after spending five days in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Dave C. Erickson returned to Milford Tuesday, after spending the week-end in Caliente, Nev. S. K. Munk returned to his work in Caliente last Sunday after spending spend-ing the day in 'Milford with his family. Mrs. Vera Wate entertained her club at her home on Thursday of last week. The evening, was spent in iJiajrn'6 1,1-.., ....... t going to Mrs. Gladys Bird, second to Mrs. Norma Edwards, and con-solaton con-solaton to Mrs. Maurene Miller. Others present were Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Lund, Mrs. Noma Bradshaw Mrs. Alma Sly and Mrs. Roma Carlton. At 11:30 a dainty lunch was served. Mrs. S. K. Munk was hostess at a birthday party in her home on Saturday of last week, honoring the seventh birth anniversary of her son Kenneth. The afternoon waf spent in playing games, and at 5:30 ice cream and cake were served tc the 22 guests present. Kenneth received re-ceived many bautiful and useful gifts. Mrs. Flora Cuddy entertained the Big Four bridge club at her home Tuesday night. Those present were Mrs. Lois Moore, Mrs. Ann Lee Mrs. Wanda Holms, 'Mrs. Lora Bradfield, Mrs. Katheryn Shingle-ton, Shingle-ton, Mrs. Eva Banks, Mrs. Garnet Garfield and Mrs. Lou Moore. The high point prize was won by Mrs. Eva Banks, honors by Mrs. Wanda Holms, and consolation by Mrs.' Garnet Garfield. At 11:30 cherry pie a la mode and coffee were served. Mrs. Sherman Crosby entertained at her home on February 17 in honor of the fourth birth anniversary anniver-sary of her son Douglas. Games were played during the afternoon and at 5:30 dainty refreshments of ice 'cream, cake and punch were served to the seven guests and mothers present. A merry time was had by all. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Whittaker have purchased the Sherman Crosby Cros-by home in the southwest part of town. |
