Again speaking of the governor. j He clearly proved his wisdom and acumen by appointing "Monte" j Wilson as his legislative advisor the man to delve into and sense i the in.-ide of legislation as it is 1 proposed and enacted on capital hill. j "Monte", as he is familiarly known to everybody who has had j to do with state affairs and r.ews-j paper work in Utah, knows more j about the real inside of legislative j and governmental guings-on than . perhaps any other individual in the state. He has been associated with them as a Salt Lake Tribune capi-tol capi-tol and legislative reporter for many years. And during this time he has commanded the respect re-spect and regard of every legislator legisla-tor and departmental executive. "Ask Monte, he knows," has been the advice tendered everyone wanting information anent this or that in governmental affairs. He is a veritable encyclopedia of information in-formation relative to state government, govern-ment, hut above all a reliable one. His capitol "stories" have commanded com-manded widespread attention and revealed a fund of factual "dope" valuable to newspaper and state alike. |
