Show All Men, 21-35 Years of Age, Must Register On Weduesday . The first peacetime registration registra-tion for military service in the history of the United States of America will take place next Wednesday, October 10, between the hours of 7 o'clock a.m. and 9 o'clock pjin., and all male persons between the ages of 21 and 35, i both inclusive, are required to ' register, under penalty of heavy fine and imprisonment. An ample number of registrars will be on hand to expedite the matter of I registering so that there will be I little lost time and no alibis will ! be accepted. County Clerk William A. Miller Mil-ler has been in charge of making arrangements for registration, under un-der the direction of state authorities, authori-ties, and was in Milford and Min- i ersville Thursday afternoon attending at-tending to final details. The coun- i ty registration board, appointed by Governor Henry H. Blood, consists con-sists of Ernest G. Joseph and S. Taylor Farnsworth of Beaver and J. S. Murdock of Minersville, Joseph Jos-eph and Murdock being members of the board of county commissioners. commis-sioners. The Milford hotel, regular voting vot-ing place for Milford voting district dis-trict No. 1, has been designated as registration place for both local districts and including all eligible persons in this vicinity; while the town hall in Minersville will serve similarly for persons of that community. com-munity. Two places have been designated in Beaver, the public library building and the armory. Registrars for Milford include L. g! Clay, O. C. Koch, Rudolph Nielsen, S. A. Zabriskie, D. C. Heslington, E. R. Moody and Al Wlitthuhn; while those for Minersville Miners-ville are Stan Mclvnight, Ralph Pearson, C. K. Jameson and Rulon Eyre. The registrars are expected to serve on a volunteer basis as there is no provision for remuneration remun-eration for the work. Information expected to "be given giv-en by all registrants Wednesday, same to ,be written down by the registrars who will furnish the registrant with a. properly prepared pre-pared certificate, is as follows: 1. Full name. 2. Address where you actually live. 3. Telephone. 4. Age in years, and month, day and year of birth. 5. Place of birth. 6. Country- of citizenship. 7. Name of person who will always al-ways know your address. 8. Relationship of that person. 9. Address of that person. 10. Employer's name. 11. Place of employment or business. Male persons of eligible or conscription con-scription age who are employed nearer to a registration office than that of their legal address, may register at the nearest registration regis-tration office. They will be required re-quired to give their present address, ad-dress, however, as well as their I legal address, according to the j understanding. It is emphasized that if a male I person has turned 21 years of age, on or prior to the date of regis- j ' tration or if he has not yet reach- ed the age of 36 years on that date, he is required to register, j |
