Show Cedar-Talisman Will Soon Resume Work Reconditioning of equipment and buildings has started at tho. Cedar Talisman mine in the Star district, southwest of Milford. The mine, which has been idle for 18 years, will be operated on a three-year lease by James Owens and partners of Salt Lake City, according to George Baglin, president of Cedar Talisman Con-i Con-i solidated Mines company;, with I offices in Salt Lake City. The new operators plan to mine in the Stalworth shaft, which produced pro-duced high grade silver and lead ore ahout 1910. This shaft is down 300 feet and several levels have been developed. There is also al-so an incline shaft 1000 feet. long. It is also planned to open the surface deposit, which during the last war produced approximately 30 carloads of zinc ore averaging between 25 and 33 per cent zinc. M |
