Show Milford Boy Is Among First To Enter Berlin Milford and Utah were well represented rep-resented Tuesday when American troops entered that part of Berlin set apart for American occupation forces. Spear-heading the occupation occupa-tion troops was the "Hell on Wheels" Seond Armored division, of which Robert F. Stewart, recently promoted to the rank of sergeant, is a member. The very first American to enter was Pfp. Harvey Natchees, a full-blooded Ute-Navajo Indian lad from the j Uinta Basin, a graduate of Roose-1 velt high school and prominent in j Future Farmer activities. Some-1 what out of character with his ancestors, he was driving a jeep j for a war correspondent as he j entered Hitler's former capital. i I Sergeant Stewart, son of Mr. j and Mrs. F. A. Stewart of Milford, , is a member of the 702nd Tank j Destroyer battalion, and has sent, his folks a 32-page booklet con- j taining letters of commendation : from Field Marshal Montgomery ' and General Hodges, and some of I (Continued an last page) ' First To Enter Berlin (Continued from page 1) the many news dispatches published publish-ed in American, British and Belgian Bel-gian newspapers. An especially1 interesting feature is a listing of the isnemy divisions and smaller units encountered by the "Hell on Wheels" boys following the Normandy Nor-mandy landing and continuing to the termination of the eastern Belgium campaign, giving the date of each encounter and noting those of the 47 enemy units which were "totally destroyed". Some of the back pages of the booklet wer left imprinted for writing of autographs and other bits of personal interest material, Sergeant ' Stewart's book being plentifully supplied with signatures signa-tures of fellow memilbers of this famous division.
