Show LOCALS AND PERSONALS Kathryn Kirk left Saturday morning morn-ing for Greenville to spend the weekend. week-end. Mrs. George Ranson and children were down from Salt Lake City to spend the week-end with Mr. Ranson. Miss Ellen Ford came down from Salt Lake City to spend the weekend week-end with her parents. Mrs. Jack Skow of Los Angeles, Calif., arrived for a brief visit with her mother, Mrs. LaVern Davis, and family. Miss Vie Gillins left for her home at Minersville Friday. Evan Reid left the last of the week for his home at Ephraim. Roadmaster Charles A. Chamberlin and family are nicely located in the Jack Pitchforth home on North Main street. Mrs. H. E. Phelps, Jr., and daughter daugh-ter are here from Midvale visiting at the home of her mother, Mrs. A. L. Webb. Frank Goff is down from Salt Lake City working out of here. Miss Rhoda Sherwood left the last of the week for her home at Minersville. Miners-ville. Mrs. Willard Nichols and Mrs. D. E. Kirk motored to Beaver Saturday. Mrs. J. C. Brownfield of Beaver is visiting at the home of Mrs. E. R. Smyth. N. E. Smith returned from Salt Lake City. Merill Miller was down from Black Rock the week-end. Marcellus G. White left for Silver Lake , Calif., where he has accepted a position. S. W. Jones left Tuesday on a business busi-ness trip to the northern part of the state this week. Mrs. W. G. White spent Thursday at Lynndyl. Miss Erma Hickman returned home Sunday from Beaver where she visited vis-ited with her sister, Mrs. Geo. Now- ers. Milford friends have received word of the birth of a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Baker at Junction. Mr. Baker was music director in the Milford Mil-ford schools a few years ago. Mrs. C. A. Bailey and daughter Dorothy former residents of Milford, were here from Los Angeles Friday for a short visit with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Fernley returned re-turned to their home in Caliente, Nevada Ne-vada last Thursday. Mrs. Fernley is , reported as doing nicely since her op-; eration. i Mr .and Mrs. J. M. Fitzgerald departed de-parted Wednesday, January 23, for Los Anceles for a visit with friend - J and relatives.
