Coonls, Washington D C., and National Auxiliary President Mrs. Consuelo DeCoc. Sacramento. Calif. Com-mander-in-Chief Coonlz will give the obligation of membership to a class of 50.000 recruits via the radio in a nationwide mass meeting of 3,000 V. F. W. local units. Members of Escalante Post No. 1544 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars will take part in the second annual "Hello America" radio hour on the night of February 11 with a special mass meeeting and Veteran rally. Advice has been received from National Na-tional headquarters at Kansas City that arrangements have been com- t pleted for the second annual nation wide radio invitation of recruits which will be broadcast over the N. B. C. network on the eve of Lincoln's birthday. Preceding the actual initiation addresses ad-dresses will be given by Commander in Chief Robert E. Coontz of the V. F. W., Mrs. Consuels De Col Com- mander of the ladies auxiliary and Senator Arthur R. Robinson of Indiana. In-diana. Following the ceremones, members of the local post will give an entertainment. enter-tainment. The meeting will be held in the local I. O. O. F. hall at 8 p. m. The public is cordially invited.
