Show Honey Boy Mine Suit Settled; ! Intensive Development Underway Intensive developme of the Honey Boy mining propti-ly, with the probability that thirty or more men will be employed within a short time, was made possible Tuesday when an outof-court settlement was secured of federal court litigation which has held up development of this property pro-perty for several months. By the terms of the agreement the original locators, J. S. Murdock, Carl Roberts- and Ralph Myers, regain full possession of the property and the bond and lease held by E. D. Hashimoto, Japanese capitalist, is cancelled. The legal firm of Cline, Wilson and Cline represented the Honey Boy owners in the case, having hav-ing associated with them the Salt Lake firm of Cheney, Jensen and Marr, wellknown mining attorney. Organization of an all-local capital company to develop this property is now underway and corporation papers will be filed in the near future, fu-ture, with -actual work to begin at once. W. H. Hendrickson, well-known geologist and practical mining man, who was superintendent of the Horn .Silver mine for many years, will be superintendent and general manager of the property. The Honey Boy is a lead-silver property with good gold values and is located" in Pole canyon, southeast of Milford and in the Bradshaw mining min-ing district. Fully financed to carry on intensive development and under the management of Mr. Hendrickson, great things are confidently- expected of this property. Credit is due D. E. Kirk of the Kirk Realty company for his work in getting local capital interested in the property, without which pushing of the case to a successful conclusion might not h'ave been possible. o |
