Hall i.nd family returned home Friday after spending the past three weeks at Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. John Gunn of Beaver visited friends here Sunday. Coach Hafen of St. George was a guest at the Oliver Graff home Saturday Satur-day evening. The Parent-Teachers held a meeting meet-ing here Monday evening. Dr. C. R. Parrish was the speaker. Mr. and Mrs. Reese Griffith and baby ba-by spent the past few days at Salt Lake City. The Relief Society Stake officers were visitors at Relief Society here Tuesday. The High School will present a music recital here Saturday night, La-Var La-Var Issacson is in charge. Saturday night the M. H. S. basket ball team played the Dixie team here. The score being 24-28 in favor of M. H. S. o ADAMSVILLE - : Wednesday afternoon a bundle shower was given for Mrs. Bob Stoney of Beaver at the home of her grandmother Sarah A. Jones. Between 25 and 30 women were present. All had a very enjoyable time to-gether games and a very delicious luncheon took up the greater part of the afternoon. after-noon. Mrs. Stoney received many beautiful gifts. Mrs. J. M. Griffiths of Minersville and her daughter, Mrs. Alfred Hes-lington Hes-lington of Salt Lake City were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Griffiths Tuesday of last week. The event was occasioned by celebrating Mrs. J. M. Griffiths 60th birthday anniversary. an-niversary. A turkey dinner was served serv-ed in the afternoon to a number of relatives and friends. The four sons Reese, Stanley, Lewis and Ruben presented pre-sented their mother with a new first class radio. Mrs. Hazel Eyre motored to Milford Mil-ford Wednesday morning for the purpose pur-pose of having her little son Donald examined by Dr. Parrish. It was found that he had a slight growth in the mouth under his tongue. The growth will be removed by an operation opera-tion about the last of December. Mrs. David Jones has been suffering the past week with an infected foot. Golda Waters of Beaver and George Murry of Mapelton, Utah were visitors visit-ors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Larsen last week. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Puffer of Beaver motored through Adamsville enroute to Minersville to visit . with friends the later part of the week. Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Baldwin mother and father of Loyal Baldwin visited at the Baldwin ranch at Aberdare Saturday night. Little Maxine Puffer has been on the sick list the past few day's. FRISCO James Gehering has gone to Salt Lake City. Ed Goodwin met with a painful accident ac-cident while pouring water on some live coals, the water coming in contact con-tact with fire caused a steam, scalding his fingers. He went down to the Milford hospital to have it dressed. Mr. Richards of Delta is visiting his sons Ed, Delwin and Neldon Richards of this place. . Mrs. Andy Clothier of Minersville is visiting her daughter, Mrs. M. L. Edwards. Ed-wards. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Haslam motored to Milford Sunday. Mv. and Mrs. Arthur Nelson of Milford Mil-ford were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Ross Sunday. Mrs. Eva Ellis has returned home from Salt Lake. A cottage meeting was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Goodwin Friday night. Those attending from Milford: Bishop E. H. Bird and wife, M. J. Andrews and wife, Walter Bowmen, Bow-men, David Heslington, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jones, Mr .and Mrs. Roy Miller, Mil-ler, Mr. Tomsik. Bishop Bird and David Heslington were the speakers. All present had a nice time. Isaac Goodwin and family motored to Beaver Friday. Mrs. Harold Baxter has returned home after spending a few days in Milford. . Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Tavey have moved to Milford. Quite a number of Frisco people are on the sick list. Al Huntington and Don McDonald went to Beaver Sunday on a duck hunt. Roldo Turner, his mother Mrs. Turner and Mrs. Horton motored to Ely Saturday night returning Sunday. M. L. Edwards motored to Minersville Miners-ville Sunday. FRISCO MINING NEWS The Tintic Lead shipped 7 cars of ore this week. The company has opened op-ened up a good body of ore in 926 stope on the 900 ft. level. They are extracting quite a large tonnage of Gold Silver ore on the 300 and 500 ft. levels. Some of the leasers are mining min-ing some real gold ore and one car of high grade carbonates is being shipped ship-ped this week and some of the other leasers will ship in the very near future. fu-ture. S. N. Morrison, president of the Tintic Lead Mining Co., and Mr. Eardley assistant Supt. of the U. S. Smelting Co. of Salt Lake inspected the Horn Silver mine Tuesday returning return-ing to Salt Lake City Tuesday evening. even-ing.
