Show u FUNERAL SERVICES FOR CHAS. DRAPER HELD LAST SUNDAY Funeral services were held in the East Ward Chapel at Moroni Sunday at 2 o'clock for Charles Draper who died here Wednesday night following an operation that was made as a last resource to save his life. Milford people as well as friends and relatives from Mt. Pleasant and Moroni participated in the service, Carl Goodwin of Milford offering the opening prayer and Helen Bird and Ruben Johnson, also of Milford singing sing-ing a duet, "Jesus, lover of my soul." Other hyms were sung by the choir and by residents of Moroni and Mt. Pleasant while several talks were given giv-en by church dignitaries of the locality, local-ity, Bishop Nelson conducting the services. Following the services, interment was made in the Moroni cemetery. Mr. Draper was born in Moroni December De-cember 23, 1S78, a son of Albert and Clara TJraper. He was married in 1912 to Miss Thirzah Olson of Moroni. ' He was engaged in draying and transfer business in Mt. Pleasant until un-til moving to Gunnison six years ago. Later he engaged in farming near Milford. Surviving are his widow and five children: Romaine, Hayes, Rex, Byrd and Ed gel Draper, Milford; a sister, Mrs. Frank Pritchett, Richfield; three brothers, Lnyton, Clifton and Vern Draper, Mt. Pleasant. |
