Show O ; HERE AND THERE in the EXCHANGES ARREST MADE Helper Lee Diamenti, of Helper was placed under arrest Tuesday and held for investigation in "connection with the burglarizing of Shramwi-Johnson's Shramwi-Johnson's drug store at Helper early Monday morning. He will probably be arraigned the last part of the week. In the meantime he is at liberty under $2500 bond. Times. ALLEGED CATTLE THIEVES Junction John W. (Jack) Gardner, Harry Colborn and Walter Baker were bound over to the district Court by George Davis, Justice of the peace, of Jinction Precinct, on a complaint charging them with larceny of a yearling year-ling heifer belonging to Moroni Barney Barn-ey of Elsinore, Piute Co. News. SUSPENDED SENTENCE Magna Trial was held for Geo. Workman at Tooele the first week. He was given 90 days suspended sentence sen-tence on good behavier. J. P. Murphy his co-partner in crime, will come before be-fore the Grand Jury some time in September. It will be remembered that the two men were arrested by Sheriffs Hanks, Pherson and Reynolds at Magna, July, 28 on a charge of breaking into in-to box cars on the Rio Grand and Western Pacific railroads. Workman was later turned over to the Tooele authorities on a charge of petty larceny larce-ny when missing tools from Tooele were found in the car occupied by the two men. The sentence will probably be longer for Murphy, who has been convicted before on theft charges. Times. n |
