Show " NAME 'EM! Milford boasts twins, but twins without a name. The Glen twins have been enjoying their first two months, of life in Mil- ford and have been the center of interest in the town ever since th,eir arrival but as yet appro- priate names have not been found for the duplicate boys. The parents have considered several suitable names but their circle of interested friends is not satisfied. Twins are more or less a matter of civic pride and something unusually clever in the way of nomenclature is de- manded! also the community at large wants a say in the choice of the names. The News, appreciating with the dilemma of the parents who are striving unsuccessfully to satisfy everyone, is calling upon the town to assist in the naming of the Glen twins and offers a year's subscription to the paper to the person who suggests the most suitable names for the boys. The first entrant in the contest is Mrs. Les Farnon who offers as her suggestion "Pat and Mike Glen." An anonymous subscrip- er offers "Tom and Jerry" as they are suggested, they will be print- ed in the News and a choice will be made by a committee made up of the parents of the boys and the staff of the News when the contest closes on the first of Sep- tember. Send or bring your idea of a suitable name to the office of the News. |
