Show CEDAR CITY CUTS CITY OFFICIALS PAY By the action of the city officials Thursday night in passing the ordinance ordin-ance reducing the salaries of officials who will govern the city during 1932 and 1933, there will be a saving of $1800 for each year a total of $3600. As will be noted by perusal of the ordinance published in this issue all salaried officers, with the exception of Recorder, Treasurer and Health Officer, Offic-er, has been cut 15 per cent. In one or two cases of appointive officers a larger reduction has been made, principally in the city inspect or's fees, which now is $1.00 per hour and not more than $75 per month. This particular officer in the coming two' years will be paid at the rate of 50c per hour and not more than $50 per month. Cedar City Record. |
