Show SCHOOL BOARD IN SESSION THURSDAY Members of the Beaver County Board of Education held a session yesterday in Milford, taking action on a number of matters pertaining to the opening of school Monday. It was decided by the board to close the driveway between the two school buildings in Milford to eliminate the hazzard of accidents which might occur oc-cur to children. Parking will be on the west side of the building only. F. A. Bingham was employed as janitor of the Milford school buildings. build-ings. Other decisions reached by the board at the meeting was to add to the shop equipment in the manual training department in Milford and to inaugurate a course in physics in the Beaver school. A rule was also made prohibiting teachers, principals, superintendent or board members from boarding teachers. The question of continuing the "school bus from Frisco to Milford was discussed, and it was decided that the superintendent of schools should make a survey of the number of pupils pu-pils in Frisco, and if the number was less than twelve to discontinue the bus line. n |
