Show Funeral Service of Mrs. Emma Eyre Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Eyre were held in the Ward chapel in Minersville Thursday. Bishop George Marshall taking charge. "Some time we will understand" was sung by the choir. Invocation by John Eyre. Violin Solo, "A Perfect Day," Professor Reese Griffith. The first speaker was James Eyre of Lyman, Wyoming. Trio. "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," Jess, Harold and Delos Baker. The second speaker speak-er was F. D. Williams. He told of the good life Sister Eyre had lived. Duet, "In the Upper Garden," Miss Darwin Marshall and Sylva Rollins. James W. Wood was the next speaker. speak-er. The last speaker was Bishop George Marshall. Closing song, a duet, "Not understood," Mr. and Mrs. Frank Williams. Benediction, Moroni Myers. The floral offering was profuse. She is survived by a husband, George H. Eyre and the following children: Mesdames James Dotson, Leon Davis, Clyde Marshall, Albert Bohn and Obra Myers and one son, Golden Eyre, all of Minersville; Mrs. Clara Evans, Stockton, Mrs. Evan Rollins, Parowan, and Mrs. Robert Bonner, Nada. An aged father, Salman Walker of Salt Lake .Forty-two .Forty-two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. |
