Show SOCIETY Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lewis entertained en-tertained the ( ?,) Club at their home Tuesday evening. The evening was spent playing "500." Prizes were awarded Mrs. Wimmer Banks, ladies la-dies high, Mrs. Roy Cottrell, consolation, consola-tion, Mr. Warren Atkin, men's high, and Mr. Wimmer Banks, consolation. A delicious hot supper was served at 11 o'clock to the following members: mem-bers: Mr. and Mrs. Sid Manning, Mr. and Mrs. Wimmer Banks, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Holt, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cottrell, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Atkin. The Monday night bridge club was entertained at the home of Mrs. W. H. Hendrickson. Members present: Mrs. J. M. Williams, Mrs. C. C. Sloan, Mrs. A. M. Fotheringham, Mrs. For-tia, For-tia, Mrs. Copeland. Guests: Mrs. M. Miller, Mrs. C. E. Moore, and Mrs. Alva Lewis. The latter being mother mo-ther of the hostess. Prizes for honors hon-ors Mrs. Sloan; points, Mrs. Fotheringham. Fother-ingham. 1 Mrs. Chas. E. Moore entertained at bridge Saturday afternoon. Prizes were won by Mrs. C. C. Sloan and Mrs. Williams. Other members present pres-ent were, Mrs. W. Morley, Mrs. Cochrane, Coch-rane, Mrs. Copeland, Mrs. Neilson, Mrs. Churchill and Mrs. Cates, guest. Mrs. J.M. Williams entertained Friday night at bridge. Members and guests present: Mrs. J. R. Murdock,! MJrs. M. P. Lewis, Mrs. Gene Kirk, ' Mrs. Lamar Outzen, Mrs. McGarry, Mrs.Weston from Lynndyl. Invited In-vited guest: Mrs. C. C. Sloan and Mrs. Copeland. Prizes were won by Mrs. Murdock and Mrs. Lewis. Luncheon was served at a late hour. The Jolly stitchers were delightfully delight-fully entertained at the home of Mrs. E. B. Tanner Friday afternoon at ' 4:30. Those present wore: Mrs. S. j W. Stoker, Mrs. Jas. Lang, M.s. Stott, j frs. Osborn, Mrs. Andrews, and j Mrs. E. H. Bird. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent sewing and i chatting and dainty refreshments j were served. j |
