Cases on the calendar for this term of court will be published next week. The construction company which has the contract for the oil-surfacing 0 fthe highway south from Beaver to the Iron county line, arrived here the first of the week. Mai-tell Easton left Sunday for Eureka, Nevada, where ho has a position posi-tion with a drug company. His wife will remain here with her parents until Martell gets located. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Low, who moved from Beaver to California last fall, came up to Milford last week to attend the funeral of Eph Smith at that place. Since then they have been visiting relatives in Beaver. ;H. E. Howe, manager of the Beaver Beav-er Mountain States Telephone Co., was operated on Monday evening at the Milford hospital for appendicitis, by Dts. Parrish and McQuarrie. His condition at present is favorable for an early recovery. A new floor has been placed in the iron bridge near Adamsville. Warren War-ren Thompson, driving one of the It. C. Murdock's big trucks with trailer attached and loaded with coal, recently re-cently went through the floor of this bridge, but fortunately was not injured in-jured and the truck undamaged. Work on the Buckskin-Bone Hollow Hol-low road was discontinued the first of the week owing to the bad weather. While the work had reached the point where there is a passable auto road front the "91" Highway to the Sevier highway, there are a few places yet to be improved. However, all the available funds have been exhausted ex-hausted at present, but the committee commit-tee in charge of the work hopes to be able to secure additional donations in cash and labor to put the entire road in first-class shape as soon as the weather permits.
