Show SOUTH MILFORD Ross Patterson and Orval Williams are the latest victims of the present flu epidemic. However both are now lapidly convalescing. Mrs. F. W. Gospill and Miss Gladys Gospill will be hostesses to the Social Hour club on Thursday afternoon, May 7, at the club house. Mrs. W. W. Cook and Mrs. J. C Weber narrowly escaped serious injury in-jury when their car which Mrs. Cook was driving, overturned on the curve near the James Griffiths Tanch. No damage was done to the car or its occupants except . one piece of glass being shattered. Black and White Day, last Tuesday was a great success from; the standpoint stand-point of corrals, education and general gener-al good feeling. Messers Matheson of the National Holstein-Freisian Association Assoc-iation and John T. Caine graciously answered the many questions put forward for-ward and much interest was displayed at the ranches where herds were exhibited. ex-hibited. The Black and White luncheon served serv-ed by the Community club ladies at the club house was most pleasing. The Lions Club, out in full force seemed in their happiest mood at the tables and ranchers and guests did ample justice to a splendid repast. The Community Club are to have a business and social meeting at the club house Saturday evening. o |
