Show PHEASANT HUNTERS POOR SPORTSMEN Pheasant hunters ,in general, this season showed poor (sportsmanship, according to Game Warden Fred E. Larsen of Castle Dale, as they deliberately deli-berately insisted on shooting hens and resorted to all kinds of schemes to hide the identity of the sex, as well as doing considerable damage. In one instance, a number of the hunters set out fire in order to burn the birds out into the open, along Cottonwood creek ,east of Castle Dale, and destroyed a considerable amount of winter feed, which was being be-ing saved by a local farmer for his livestock. With feed as scarce as it is at the present ,this loss is a serious one to the farmer affected. The people of the county are indignant in-dignant over the actions of outside hunters, who seem to have no respect for the property rights of residents, but destroy private property right and left.
