Show PLUMBIC MINES ' ASSESSES STOCK Stockholders of Plumbic Mines company, at a combined special and regular meeting Tuesday in Salt Lake adopted an amendment making the stock assessable, levied a one cent assessment and elected directors and officers. Placing of the company on an as-sessible as-sessible basis was necessary to protect pro-tect it from loss of valuable assets subject to claim of creditors, the management announced. Operations at the company's Beav-ar Beav-ar county property were discontinued some time ago because of lack of money and the inability to raise ad-litional ad-litional funds by assessment. The property is situated in the Star district, near Milford. It consists of 15 claims, five of which are patented. Subsequently a shaft was sunk 500 feet and 1,000 feet of drifting was done in the limestone for the purpose of picking up the ore bearing fissure at that depth. Lack of money closed 'he property before the objective was cached. Directors elected at Tuesday's meeting were L. N. Morrison, H. M. Williams, D. H. Bullough, S. B. Har-uon Har-uon and H. R. Hanson. The directors direct-ors re-elected Mr. Morrison president, Mr. Williams, vice president, and Mr. 'lullough, secretary and treasurer. Mineral Survey. n |
