This, of course, applies only when the car Is stuck t In the snow or in deep mud, for after getting under way, the cumbersome "lump" should be removed. Owners should get Into the habit of repairing tire chains, the work requiring little effort. The garage makes a charge of 10 cents, even for one new link, which the Owner can Install In less than one minute with a chain tool which most supply stores offer, or which can be had from the chain man ufacturer. |
