Mr. and Mrs. Ray Beck are moving mov-ing to Cedar City to make their home. E. W. Clay was in from Burbank this week. The C. C. Dutson family have moved mov-ed into the Blanpied home. Miss Elsie Hales, county librarian, was in iMilford Saturday evening. Louis F. Starr, of Glendale, Calif., was transacting business in Milford this week. R. G. Welch and W. E. Styles, of Salt Lake City, were Milford visitors this week. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Murdock sr.c baby, of Ogden, were visitors at the C. T. Martin home Friday. Mrs. Helena B. McGarry was over from Beaver t attend the Auxiliary card party Born, to Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Barnes, Barn-es, a IOV2 pound son. Mother and son are doing fine. Glen Stonehocker and Bill Cochrane Coch-rane are spending their vacation at Yellowstone' Park. Mrs. Arvilla Hansen, formerly of Milford, is recovering from an operation opera-tion in a Salt Lake hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Johnson, of Hollywood, Calif., are spending a few clays in Milford. Wayne Decker and Max Williams, Salt Lake City were business visitors in Milford this week. Dr. Charles R. Parrish made a business trip to Los Angeles the first of the week. J. D. Johnson and C. Epley, accompanied ac-companied by 'Mrs. Epley, transacted business in Milford during the weekend. week-end. Mrs. Merle Rasmussen, of Paro-wan, Paro-wan, formerly of Milford, has been visiting here with Mrs. Edwards and Mrs. Chas. Clemens. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford H. Cook who have been in charge of the Milford News for the pst. nine months, departed de-parted Friday for Berkeley, Calif., where thew will make their home. Mrs. M. E. Webb, Mrs. Nellie Rooney and Joe, of Portland, Ore., are visiting at the A. L. Webb home. Mr. Webb's mother will remain for sometime, bu t his sister returned home for the opening of shoool. Alta Schow, of Escalante, is visiting visit-ing here at the Charles Schow home. The opening ball of the season at the Arion will take place on Saturday evening, Sept. 19. Walter Griffiths arrived Thursday from ,Los Angeles, Calif., to spend l the week-end with his family of South Milford. A. E. Clark, chief operator of the American Telepone Company, accompanied accom-panied by his wife an children, have gone to Idaho for a vacation trip. Farrel Peterson is working at the Victory Theatre while Mr. Af flick, the operator, and wife axe on their vacation. Mrs. Henry Bowman and children will leave today for Cedar City, where they will spend the winter. Their son Melvin, who won a scholarship schol-arship in the oratorical contest at Cedar last year, will attend school at the B. A. C. tC. J. Hamel, Mrs. C. T. Martin and son Robert arrived Sunday morning morn-ing from a week's stay in Salt Lake City where Mrs. Martin visited her son and family, and Mr. Hamel his wife and daughters. Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Fotheringham have taken over the Martin Terrace and will look after the apartments themselves. Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Osborne, Os-borne, the former managers, will continue con-tinue to reside at the apartments. Mr. and Mrs. Arlington Snow and sons Lloyd and Kay,' returned to their home in Provo Tuesday of last week, after visiting Mrs. Snow's parents, Mr. .and Mrs. D'. A. Workman. Work-man. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Weber, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Weber, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Weber, of Los Angeles, An-geles, Miss Ethel Stanley and Melvin Mel-vin and Marvin Stanley, spent a very enjoyable clay in the Beaver canyon Thrsday of last week.
