Show ROOSEVRT SPRINGS MAY BE ACQUIRED BY LOS ANGEES PEOPLE A party of JLos An.geles.men were in Milford Saturday looking over the Roosevelt Radium Springs with a view of acquiring the property for a resort and sanitarium. These springs, 12 miles northeast of Milford, famous for their curative cura-tive propensities in the early days, have practically been abandoned owing ow-ing to the title being in litigation a number of years. However it is understood un-derstood that the property is now on the market and the Los Angeles parties par-ties are negotiating for its purchase. Messrs Clyde Dubbs, A. T. Mode J. Baptisle and W. V. Dunton, all of Los Angeles, made a personal inspection inspec-tion of the property, and while nothing noth-ing definite has been given out, the gentlemen were very favorably impressed im-pressed with the possibilities of the springs and climate of the valley as an ideal location for a sanitarium. They were particularly interested in the conditions here for the treatment of pneumonial trouble. Many sufferers suffer-ers of tuberculosis have been cured by coming to the valley and it is claimed that there are no cases in the county. Should the gentlemen decide on the purchase of the Roosevelt Radium Springs, they stated that at least $50,000.00 would be expended on developing de-veloping the tract and erecting buihl-! buihl-! ings- I n |
