Show WILLIAMS FAMILY HOLD BIG REUNION A reunion of the David E. Williams Wil-liams family was held at the home of D. J. Williams in Greenville, on July 23, 1931. These reunions had previously been an annual affair, but due to changing conditions, the family assembled this year for the first time in six years. The members of the family in attendance at-tendance from Idaho were Mr. and Mrs. John R. Williams and daughter daugh-ter Edna, (Mr. Williams leing the eldest member of the family;) Mr. George R. Williams and daughters Lottie and Reva; Mr. and Mrs. Philip Phi-lip B. Dance and family (Mrs. Dance Was formerly Miss Cecil Williams;) Mrs. LaRie Baker (daughter of Geo. R. Williams) and family; Frank Fackrell, son of the late Lucy Williams Wil-liams Fackrell; G. Ronald Carter, son of the late Sarah Williams Carter, Car-ter, all of Blackfoot. Other members of the family were Heber C. Williams and family of Salina; Mrs. Maggie Williams Griffiths and son Oral, of Beaver; Mr. and Mrs. Franklin D. Williams and family of Minersville, and Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Williams and family of Greenville. Close relatives of the family present pres-ent were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Tanner Tan-ner and granddaughters, Alice and Marian Broadhead, of Blackfoot, Idaho; Mrs. Ann Banks, of Minersville Miners-ville (Mrs. Banks and Mrs. Tanner are sisters of the late Mrs. David E. Williams;) Mrs. Mary Ann Reese, a sister-in-laV, and daughter Kate, of Beaver;- Mr; and Mrs. Richard-Thomas, Richard-Thomas, of North Creek; Mrs. Hat-tie Hat-tie Edwards, of Parogonah; Mrs. Elizabeth Elmer, of Milford; Mrs. Kate Singleton,, of Milford. Grandchildren and families present pres-ent were Mr. and Mrs. Fay Hickman and family, Mr. and Mrs. Angus Easton, of Beaver; Mrs. Nettie Kirk and family, of Milford; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Calvert and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Davis, and Mr. and Mrs. James Williams and family, all of Greenville; Mr. and Mrs. Emil Nowers and family, of Beaver; Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Williams, Wil-liams, of Eureka, Utah. Most of the day was happily spent in visiting. A . delicious luncheon was served after which the following follow-ing program was rendered, with D. j J. Williams in 'charge: Address of welcome, D. J. Williams; solo, F. D. Williams; address, Philip Dance; reading, Alice Broadhead; solo, Heber He-ber C. Williams; reading, Lottie Williams; duet, Viola Nowers and F. D. Williams; reading, Cecil Dance; Dan-ce; reading, Reva Williams; solo, Mrs. Lucy P. Williams; reading, Pauline Williams; comic reading, John R. Williams; duet Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Williams, and an address by G. Ronald Carter. Dancing in the evening, completed complet-ed the day's festivities and all present pres-ent felt greatly repaid for the effort put forth to again join with their relatives on such an occasion and went away with hopes of coming together again in the future as often of-ten as possible. |
