Show WYNAUGHT WRITES J OF CLOSE OF MEET DESCRIBES HIS TRIP L. A. Wynaught, delegate of the Milford Lions to the Lions Convention Conven-tion at Toronto, writes the following regarding the close of the convention and a trip he is taking on the Great Lakes. Canada Steamship Lines Limited On Board Steamer Leaving Toronto July 17, 1931 Milford News: You see I am doing as you requested, request-ed, writing often. I am taking a boat ride to Montreal down Lake Ontario, just pulling away from the pier. It is about a thirty hour ride. We are all tired out but pulled the next convention to Los Angeles for 1932. It was an all night session for us and we only had one hours rest. It was quite a fight but the loosers were good sports and are leaving feeling feel-ing good toward the whole delegation. This is the thousand island trip. Many of the passengers are talking about the beauties. I just heard a v lady tell about one of the castles that has e'rhty bedrooms and fifty baths some place. The owner must have a large and dirty family. Respectfully, r V- Bert |
