Show SPREAD OF TRENCH MOUTH IS CHECKED NO FURTHER CASES OF THIS DISEASE REPORTED LOCALLY Trench mouth in Milford is under control and practically not in exis-tance exis-tance locally, according to Dr. L. F. Kohler.' No cases of the disease have been reported to him all week, although al-though several persons have come to him as a precautionary measure, believing be-lieving that they were suffering from it. Last week, Dr. Kohler treated over a score of cases. If properly treated, the disease soon is cured. Dr. Kohler believes that the thing that helped to check the progress of the disease here, was the sterilization of drinking cups and glasses at soft drink establishments. All of Milford soft drink places are taking proper measures against the spread of this bad disease, as far as we are able to learn. Ed Peterson has done away with glasses in his place entirely, and uses a sanitary individual paper cup in a container. All other places use a strong solution of some sort of germicide. |
