Show MINERSVILLE q Fred Gillins of Riverside, Calif., is here as the guest of his sister, Mrs. Joseph Wood. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Hall and daughter daugh-ter Iona of St. George spent the first of the week here. Benjamin Banks has returned home after spending the past few months at Eureka. Mrs. Sidney Carter has returned home after spendng the month at Cal-iente. Cal-iente. Mrs. Robert Hildebrand is visiting at Ogden with her son Fay Colton. The Missea Elva Hall and Lillian Carter spent the week-end at Cedar City where they attended the Junior College Basket ball tournament. S. A. Goodwin of Frisco spent Sunday Sun-day here with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Fay Hall and family of Compton, Calif., arrived here Saturday Sat-urday where they will now reside. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schwab and children of Beaver were in town Tuesday Tues-day morning. Dr. and Mrs. Warren Shepherd of Salt Lake City called on relatives here Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Sherwood of Milford Mil-ford were intown Sunday. Mrs. Nancy Womham of Beaver visited friends here Tuesday morning. Mrs. Edwin Eyre was the honored guest at a supper Friday evening at the home of Mrs. James Eyre. Forty six guests were present. Mrs. Mary Harris was happily surprised sur-prised Thursday when a number of friends and neighbors gave her a party, par-ty, it being her birthday anniversary. Mrs. Hannah Corbridge was the honored guest at a party Saturday evening on the occasion of her birthday birth-day anniversary. Monday evening Mrs. Clinton Thompson enertained at her home in honor of her father, H. A. Walker, celebrating his eightieth birthday, Music and games were the diversions after which refreshments were served to thirty guests. The Mesdames Effie Marshall and Fern Banks entertaned the officers and teachers of the primary at the Marshall home. |
