Show GUN CLUB TO ACCEPT TEN LADYJHOTS The organization of the Milford Valley Gun Club was completed last week with the election of officers and the closing of the membership list. Thirty sportsmen were present at the meeting held Wednesday evening at Ed Peterson's and these were listed as charter members and with the entry en-try of their names the list of male membership was closed and the business busi-ness of election of officers undertaken. Shorty Miller was chosen president, Dan Davis, vice president, . W. S. Schow, secretary and Ed Peterson, treasurer while Sam Cline, J. E. Wilson Wil-son and L. G. Clay were elected to the board of trustees. Following election of officers there was discussion on the location of a ' shooting ground and a committee headed by Dan Davis was appointed to handle the matter. Guest privileges privileg-es and the type of trap to be purchas- ed were also subject of discussion and ! will probably be decided upon at the '! next meeting. Though the final membership list comprises thirty male members there are still several memberships open to women, as the club wishes to have ten sportswomen among its members. |
