Show Charles Shurtleff. Dodge; Mr. W. A Miles, Dodge, Miss Gertrude Collett returned home from her winter vacation In Provo. She will spend her summer vacation with her parents In Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Mrs. E. W. Brownng left last week for a short visit with her parents in Kansas City, Mo. She will return about July 1. Mrs. Fearl Christensen, Mr. Brig Christensen, Mrs. Teague of Salt Lake City, Miss Mildred Miles, Miss Revoe Christensen and Mr. Ray Dill-man Dill-man Epent Decoraton day in Vernal. They are -cxpeiA-ed home Wednesday. o ROOSEVELT Monthly convention of the different differ-ent organizations of Duchesne stake was held in Roosevelt Saturday, June 3. In the morning, priesthood, relief society and primary convene tions were held. . Mutual and Sunday Sun-day school conventions were held in the afternoon. Work of the past month was discussed and outlines for tho coming months were planned. The next convention will be held in July. The annual conventions of all the stakes of ZIon will be held in Salt Lake City from June 8 to June 10, 1916. All officers and members of the different organizations are requested re-quested to be present if possible. Those that are anticipating going from Roosevelt are Mr. C. I. John son, Mrs. Flora Collett, who Is pres ident of the Young Ladies Mutual association of Duchesne stake, Mrs. Mary Orser, Mrs. Lynn Orser, Mrs. Rose Hardy, Miss Afton Hardy, Mrs. Anna Smart, and Mr. Lynn Orser. The Philharmonic society will give a dance June 8 in the Amusement hall for the benefit of the Roosevel. land. The band is in need of new suits and the society intend to furnish fur-nish them. The admission will be $1.00 per couple. Delicoius refreshments refresh-ments will be served. Mr. James Sabey, Mrs. Sabey and family will make a trip into Salt Lake City in tho near Tuture in their car. Mrs. Ezra Burtan is reported to .be in a very critical condition. She has been 111 for many months and her condition has not improved. Mr. Mark Russell from Cedarvew was In Roosevelt transacting busl-less busl-less Monday. He returned to Cedar-view Cedar-view the same day. Mr. Robert Lambert will leave for Salt Lake City Wednesday morning with a load of passengers. He will make the trip In his truck. Mr. R. S. Collett went to Duchesne Du-chesne Tuesday to meet with the commissioners. He returned the following day. Mr. Craig Harmston made a trip to Duchesne Tuesday. . He returned the following day.
