Show McCORMCK NEWS. We had a snow fall of about two inches on the night of the 14th which will help the beets and other crops a great deal. This is very unusual for this part, hut we don't complain much about the weather unless is doesn't suit us. There arc a great many acred of beets being planted this year; almost every farm has some. Also the farmers are signing contracts con-tracts to furnish hay for the Tarkio Tar-kio Molassos Feed Co, which with our dairy products ought to make our town come to the front. Mrs. Enid Baxter of Spring City, is visiting her mother, Mrs. M. B. Griffiths, and other relatives. L. B. Bigler, Jr., and wife and baby ba-by of Provo were the guests of his parents this week. The social given by the Superin-tendency Superin-tendency of the Sunday School on Wednesday, April 9th, was a great success. The evening was spent in dancing and games, and candy and nuts wore enjoyed by all. A. H. Maxfield has gone to Moroni Mor-oni to work. Miss Lenora Ash-croft Ash-croft is helping Mrs. Maxfield in the store. I Mr. Mabin Stephenson of Holden. was a guest of his sisters, Amanda and Eva Johnson. Miss Bessie Anderson An-derson of Ook City was also a guest of Amanda and Eva Johnson last week. Mrs. Hans Peterson and family are with us again after spending the winter in Mc Gill, Nevada. Mrs. Murray Jefferies entertained a few children on the 8th, in honor of the tenth anniversary of her little lit-tle daughter, Eloise. Miss Elsie Brinkerhoff gave a party par-ty on her birthday on the 11th, when she was nine years old. |
