Utah winter wheat is yielding splendidly. The average yield as reported re-ported by crop reporters is 23 bu. per acre. This means a production of 3,151,000 bushels. The quality is generally good. Spring wheat i3 very good, though declining slightly in prospects the past month. A production, produc-tion, of 3,114,000 bushels is indicated indica-ted which added to the winter wheat makes a total of 6,2G5,000 bushels for the state. Potatoes declined considerably in condition. Many counties report frost damage and in many others a lower condition figure is reported without explanation. A production 530,000 bushels less than last year is indicated by the reports. |
