Hat ten. Last Wednesday Miss Vie Watts of this place atid Mr. William Lewis f r m Arizona were married at Fillmore. Friday Fri-day night a wedding supper was given at the home of the bride's parents. t Katurday night the youug people gave the new married couple a bundle shower. We wish them a long and happy life. Mr. Charles Whltaker, his wife and family, are here from Provo for a short visit. Mr. John A. Watts Is seen on our streets. We are always glad to e him come home, even If he don't stay long Sister Abraham Is still on the Improve, Im-prove, although the hot weather is very hard on her. Last Thursday a number of our boya left for Ruby Valley to work. It has caused some of the girls to look as If they had lost their best friends, especially es-pecially Afton and Josie. Mrs. Estella Parsons aud her mother Mrs. Shaw are here on a visit from Salt Lake. ' Meadow has sent an Invitation to the people of Katiosh to Join In their Pioneer Pio-neer Day celebration. Kanosh accepted ac-cepted this Invitation and will go to Meadow for the 24th, where we hope all will have an enjoyable time. A great number of our young folka have gone to the mountains to enjoy themselves. fishing and hunting. Miss Delia and Thelma Glllls are here from Beaver, also Mrs. Estella Baldwin. The farmers are busy cutting their grain. |
