Show NEWS OF OUR NEIGHBORS Cb&eEciiiorbHisWteklj ACADEMY NOTES. Clark Allred, Rsporter. Nearly all the examinations on last month'a work have been been given and the new honor roll will be out noon. Wednesday morning the dual debate of the class aeries was held. The Panama Canal toll question, which Is being dlscused by the leading United Stale senators, wan debated. The question, although a difficult one, was well handled by each speaker. Franklin Frank-lin Badger and Zella Nlelson of the second year class won from Ancll Strlngbam and V 1 1 ford Hilton of the third year class. The Judge were John Reeves of Hinckley, N. L. Peterson Peter-son of Deseret Mr. Johnson, school teacher at Hinckley. Friday evening a delightful banquet was served to the basket bail team, followed by a dance. Coach Peterson presented each of the seven players with a maroon sweater bearing a white block "M" on the front. Saturday evening the second and third year clasaes held claaa parties. The Sophomores gathered at the academy and the Juniors met at K. K. Robinson's residence. |
