Show A Correction. In last week's Chronicle we reported that S. W. Eccles had moved into the second floor of his store building and that Dr. Broaddus was to occupy his residence. res-idence. It seems that we shot wide of the mark, as we were called up on the phone the next day after the paper came out and told by the doctor that he had not rented Mr. Eccles' residence resi-dence and was not figuring on it. While we did not consult either of the principals in the matter, we secured our information from a reliable or we thot so source. We are sorry to have made the erroneous statement and hope the doctor will accept this as an apology. These are some of the disagreeable features of the newspaper business which occur at times and really can't be help- id as it is impossible to run down and varify every news item we publish. If we were to take the time to do this there would be no newspaper in this valley. |
