Show Sutherland Searchlights Miss Velma Curtis is here visiting vis-iting her Aunt, Mrs. B. F. Johnson. John-son. Miss Helen Smith is spend a few days with Agnes Hersliff, of Woodrow. Ed Bunker is at the Wilson ranch bailing hay. They will ship several cars off this week. Eugene Grey has moved his house on the northeast corner of his farm, which will bring him considerable nearer school. Rob Whicker is there drilling him a well. The snow is about all gone but not the mud. Looks as tho it would be like the poor, always with us. Many people are hauling haul-ing out fertilizer and getting their land ready for crops. The last word from our friends the Hayeses, Mrs- Hayes is still in the east with her mother who is very ill. Mr. Hayes is in California Cali-fornia looking after business. Bert Johnson and Jeff Clark shipped a car of hogs out of this vicinity last Sunday. P. H- Robison and his help have just unloaded and stored, until the road conditions get a little better when they will be taken to Fillmore, a car of Dodge autos at Delta. The car contained con-tained five of the Dodge autos and Mr. Robison informs us that he will have two more cars unloaded un-loaded at Delta by April. He says that the prospects this season for placing Dodge cars in Millard county could not be better and is looking for a big business this summer. |
