Show S C. A. Smead, who is located near Wood row left last Sunday morning for Francitas Texas, where he will spend the winter. Mr. Smead was called to Texas last spring hy the illness and death of his father and is now returning to help settle the fum-. fum-. ily estate. J. A. Faust Jr., of Tioche. Nev., is here visiting his parents ' during "his mother's illness, who ; is quite sick with la grippe and for a time was threatened with pneumonia. Mr. Faust says that he sees a big change in the country since his last visit to Delta and thinks the country has made great progress. He may decide to remain here. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Corry, of Cedar Jity, visited here the last of last week with Archur Bunker and family, Mrs. Carey and Mr. bunker being brother and sister. Mr. Gary was here in the interest of the Consolidated Consolidat-ed Wagon & Machine Co. of which he is collector. They are traveling by auto and continued their journep on to Nephi. P. L. Brunson of Fillmore, the monument man, was a Delta visitor this week. ., Mr. Brunson says the future looks bright for the Fillmore district on account of the great success they are meeting with in bringing in ar-tision ar-tision wells. Four have already been brot in, furnishing big flows and there are three big rigs on the ground drilling. , Mr. 1 Brunson was here looking over i the ground with an idea of . getting a lot and next spring putting in a marble yard.
